Implementation Consultation

Are you looking for support to implement a new program at your agency or in your system? Dr. Kim is an experienced implementation consultant who has worked with agencies and systems across the country to implement evidence-based treatments. Her expertise is in bringing implementation science to life through consultation, use of data, and building relationships.

Prior to founding Magnolia Psychological Consulting, Dr. Kim was Senior Director of Implementation at the Baker Center for Children and Families, a Harvard Medical School Affiliate, where she led a multidisciplinary team of implementation consultants. In her time with the Baker Center, Dr. Kim and her team supported hundreds of agencies through local and federal implementation initiatives, which has made a meaningful impact on the lives of youth and families.

Dr. Kim is currently the Implementation Practice and Support Network Chair for the Society from Implementation Research Collaboration (SIRC). She is serves on the Northeast Atlantic and Caribbean region advisory board for the SAMHSA-funded National Center for Mental Health Dissemination, Implementation, and Sustainment. She is also an active member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) Dissemination and Implementation Special Interest Group. Her work has been recognized nationally.

Clinical Training & Program Development

Are you looking to enhance the knowledge and skillsets of your team? Dr. Kim has over a decade of experience providing training to diverse individuals who support the mental health and well-being of youth, families, and adults. She is a certified master trainer for MATCH-ADTC, and has trained over 300 providers in the last 5 years. Dr. Kim has also developed and delivered trainings on a variety of topics, such as culturally adapting care, working with teens, supporting families with intensive mental health needs, managing families’ emergent life events, evidence-based strategies for working with adults with a range of clinical presentations. In addition to clinical trainings, Dr. Kim has supported organizations in developing and standardizing their program models to ensure model integrity and scaling.
